At the initial session, Dr. Graven gathers patient history, asks about symptoms, develops a treatment plan, and discusses recommendations.
If therapy is recommended, patients typically have weekly counseling to focus on needs identified during the initial session. Once symptoms start improving, then appointments can be spaced
out. All intake and therapy sessions last 45 minutes.

Given presenting symptoms, Dr. Graven may recommend a
psychological evaluation or neuropsychological testing. If so, she will discuss this during the initial session and will explain the steps involved.
